Swedish online casino games developer Play‘n GO has added to its Arthurian-themed family of video slots via the launch of its new five-reel and ten-payline Lord Merlin and the Lady of the Lake title.

The Vaxjo-headquartered firm used an official Thursday press release to declare that its latest mobile-friendly video slot is a sequel to the Rise of Merlin advance from 2019 and is similarly themed around ‘the earlier period’ of the mythological wizard’s life including the beginnings of his relationship with famed enchantress Vivian. The innovator proclaimed that although the pair are often portrayed as adversaries, ‘their relationship started as a romantic one’ and this is an aspect ‘not often explored in the telling of their story’.
